Natural-language intelligence for faster, better informed well decisions
SiteCom Intelligence
Stop hunting for data. Just ask, and start making decisions.
Your wells generate more information than ever. The real challenge is turning scattered data into a clear picture, fast.
Just ask
-
“Show me the latest DDR for this wellbore."
-
"Summarize the last shift."
-
"What caused the NPT yesterday?"
-
"Build me a mud-tank monitoring dashboard."
SiteCom Intelligence already knows your well, wellbore, rig, dashboard and time zone, and routes each request to the right specialist: DDR, time summary, dashboard, data fetcher or search.
What sets it apart:
-
Answers grounded in authorized data, with evidence you can verify
-
Governed by design: entitlements, audit logging, sensitive-content masking and your existing permissions
-
Advisory outputs, with your experts always in the loop
-
Extensible, so partner and customer-specific agents can be added without retraining your users

Overview
SiteCom Intelligence is the conversational and agentic intelligence layer within SiteCom platform for drilling and well operations. It brings natural-language interaction, specialist AI agents, governed data access, evidence-based retrieval, and workflow coordination into the SiteCom environment where users already work.
Rather than operating as a separate AI application, it uses available operational context—such as the selected well, wellbore, rig, dashboard, reporting period, and time zone—to help users find information, analyse operational data, work with reports and dashboards, and initiate supported actions without manually moving context between disconnected tools.
SiteCom Intelligence is designed as an extensible ecosystem rather than a single monolithic assistant. A coordination layer interprets the user’s intent and routes the request to an appropriate specialist agent, tool, retrieval path, data source, or workflow. Specialist capabilities can be enabled for bounded tasks such as Daily Drilling Report analysis, operational time summaries, dashboard creation, semantic document search, operational-data retrieval, image analysis, and document ingestion. This shared interaction model allows new agents and customer-specific capabilities to be added without creating a separate user experience for each one.
The principal differentiator is the combination of SiteCom’s operational context and connected data with governed AI execution. Responses can be grounded in authorised SiteCom data, processed operational reports, approved documents, dashboards, APIs, and customer knowledge sources, with supporting evidence and traceability available for verification. SiteCom Intelligence is therefore positioned as an enabler within the broader SiteCom portfolio: it helps users move from data and information to faster investigation, clearer operational understanding, and controlled action.
Primary users and jobs to be done
RTOC and operations personnel
Obtain a concise, contextual view of current or recent activity; investigate events, delays, NPT, and flat time; prepare shift reviews and handovers.
Drilling and well engineers
Retrieve and compare reports, operational parameters, trajectories, logs, mnemonics, and historical context; prepare tables, summaries, and operational views for engineering review.
Technical sales, customer success, and support teams
Demonstrate customer scenarios, configure repeatable views and workflows, and diagnose supported operational or data-access issues.
Performance and excellence teams
Identify operational patterns, compare periods or wells, review KPIs, and focus investigation on material deviations and improvement opportunities.
Geologists and subsurface users
Access depth-based information, trajectories, formation context, images, and connected well information through supported specialist capabilities.
Data managers, system owners, and administrators
Ingest and govern content, configure agent access, manage approved tools and models, monitor usage, and support traceability and audit requirements.
Core capabilities of SiteCom Intelligence
Users can submit natural-language questions or requests from a supported SiteCom experience. Available application context can be carried into the request, reducing the need to restate the selected well, wellbore, rig, dashboard, time zone, or operational period. Users can progressively refine a request within the same conversation.
The Orchestrator Agent provides the coordination and reasoning layer. It interprets the request and identifies the appropriate specialist agent, authorised tool, workflow, operational data source, retrieval pattern, or approved model route. The current implementation supports routing to a specialist capability; broader multi-agent collaboration and chained context transfer remain progressive capabilities.
SiteCom Intelligence supports a catalogue of bounded agents that can be selectively enabled. Internally referenced capabilities include the Daily Drilling Report Agent, Time Summary Agent, Dashboard Agent, Search Agent, Data Ingestion Agent, Data Fetcher Agent, General Agent, Image Recognition Agent, and Orchestrator Agent. Additional standard, partner, and customer-specific agents can be introduced when their tools, data access, governance, and supported use cases are defined.
Depending on the use case, SiteCom Intelligence can retrieve from processed documents, vector indexes, structured operational objects, SiteCom Store, dashboards, connected knowledge repositories, or hybrid structured and narrative sources. Material answers should expose sufficient source context or evidence to let users verify the result.
Supported agents can return concise answers, chronological summaries, tables, comparisons, trend views, plots, dashboard configurations, and links to created or modified SiteCom views. The exact output depends on the specialist agent, available source data, approved tools, and current implementation maturity.
SiteCom workflow services provide a foundation for repeatable, scheduled, event-driven, and durable processes. Registered triggers, tools, logic, decisions, and activity history can be combined into controlled workflows. Agentic workflow composition and broader self-service automation are still developing and should be positioned according to the validated use case.
How SiteCom Intelligence works
Drilling and wells teams rely on real-time data, historical records, Daily Drilling Reports, procedures, and engineering applications, all spread across different tools and formats. Users must keep the right well and time context, find trusted sources, and manually assemble an operational view. SiteCom Intelligence offers a simpler, more consistent way to work in this environment.
SiteCom authenticates the user and evaluates product entitlement, agent access, tool permissions, usage limits, and configured security controls.
The application passes the available operational context, such as well, wellbore, rig, dashboard, time zone, date range, and user session.
The orchestration and reasoning layer interprets intent and selects the General Agent or an enabled specialist agent, together with the required tools and retrieval path.
The selected agent invokes only authorised services. Depending on the task, these may retrieve processed DDR data, SiteCom Store objects, real-time or historical measurements, documents, embeddings, dashboard configurations, graph relationships, or external approved services.
The configured model route supports reasoning and response generation, while platform controls inspect the request, tool calls, retrieved context, and output.
The response is streamed to the user as a supported answer, summary, table, plot, dashboard action, or workflow result, with evidence or source context available where implemented.
The user verifies material values, assumptions, context, evidence, and completed actions before using the output for an operational or business decision.
